Recipe Sweet Plum And Peaches In Syrup Cake


  • 5 oz of melted butter
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 3 yolks
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 cup of plum jam
  • 3 cups of flour (13 oz)
  • 3 tbsp of baking powder


  • 3 egg whites
  • ¾ cup of sugar (5 oz)
  • Vanilla

To decorate

  • Small peaches in syrup.
  • Plum jam

Place the butter in a bowl along with the sugar.
Whip until forming a cream.
Add the yolks one by one and the vanilla essence.

Add the jam, mix well and add the flour gradually.

On the side, whisk the egg whites along with a tbsp of sugar until they are firm. Add half of the previous preparation quickly until it is integrated and the rest in a thin stream and enveloping motions.

Grease and dust the edges of a 9 in bunt pan and pour the preparation in.
Cook in a moderate oven, for an hour approximately.
Cooking time depends on each oven.

Remove and allow cooling to demold onto a rack.
Whisk the egg whites along with two sugar tbsp until they are firm.

Add the vanilla and remaining sugar and continue whipping until the meringue thickens.
Cover the cake with the meringue.

Drain the peaches and spread them on the cake with the hollow upward filled with plum jam. Serve at room temperature without taking it to the fridge.
